In liaison with the CDC Archaeology Officer as part of our Planning Application, a follow-up archaeological survey is currently taking place on our proposed extension land, lasting approximately five months.
We are discussing the potential for a public display of any findings with the survey supplier.
- The follow-up archaeological survey on the proposed extension land commenced on Monday 13 November 2023
- Equipment will arrive via Westerton Lane, along the Bridleway and into the site via the access gate (as per previous works)
- Equipment will largely remain on site throughout the duration of the survey, we therefore expect very little ongoing use of the Bridleway
- Fencing has been erected to the immediate east of Footpath 417 along the length of the proposed extension land
- Advisory signage has been posted at the Westerton Lane junction to the Bridleway and at either end of Footpath 417
