Clearance of smaller trees, bushes and brambles has now begun. Our ecologists have been reviewing the site in recent weeks and are on-site to ensure that any nesting birds are not disturbed. Signage is in place to advise the location of works.
This includes clearance of the land behind the Old Coach and Horses, which starts today. As part of our development plans, this area will be landscaped, including a bund. Our plans for the overall site include the planting of more than 40,000 trees and bushes from a range of native British and local species.
